Patricia Alessandrini is a composer whose works often feature live electronics. Through this medium, she actively engages with the concert music repertoire, and issues of representation, interpretation, perception, and memory. She is increasingly interested in multimedia and collaborative work, especially involving social and political issues. She will complete her PhD degree in music composition at Princeton University in the Fall of 2008.Â
