In 2004, the Bush Administration used Kofi Annan/UN, Condi Rice and Colin Powell to peddle the US fake benevolence and “democracy” masking their re-colonization of Haiti. Now it’s the surrogate “Black” president, Bill Clinton, who fulfills for Obama, the role Condi Rice and Colin Powell fulfilled in Haiti for the Bush Administration. The US forced Haiti into the UN proxy occupation of today through de-legitimizing the electoral process (in 1991 and in 2000 during the Aristide terms) when the vote brought to power the Haitian people’s choice, not the US/World Bank/IMF choices.

Since the 2004 Bush regime change in Haiti, US large footprint in “poor?” Haiti keeps increasing. US Embassy in Haiti is the fifth largest US Embassy compound in the world, after Iraq, Afghanistan, China
and Germany.

The US, France and its allies, used their power to delegitimize or legitimize, at will, the electoral process in Haiti. With this power the US implemented their own macabre Wall Street interests against the human needs of the people of Haiti. Since the fall of the US-supported Duvalier dictatorship in 1986, the profit-over-people Internationals, led by the US, have systematically prevented grassroots democracy – the one-person-one-vote principle -  from taking root in Haiti.

The US and so-called International Community have not only created chaos, famine, insecurity, poverty and instability in Haiti through delegitimizing the electoral process but by funding NGOs instead of the Haiti government, by relentlessly pushing unfair trade, World Bank structural adjustment, export economy (sweatshops) ideologies, forced privatization of State assets, reduction of import tariffs and through forcing the democratically elected government to pay down illegitimate Duvalier dictatorship loans instead of investing these millions in Haiti’s domestic health care, infrastructure, clean water and sanitation, agriculture/food sovereignty, housing, education and job creation.

But most notably, the US and to a lesser extent France and Canada helped destabilized, deprive, divide and take down Haiti’s fledging process towards inclusion, economic development and democracy in 2004 through a massive propaganda war and vilification of the Lavalas Democratic Movement and by destabilizing and dividing Haiti’s people through granting US visas, jobs, heavily funding – [ through the National Endowment for Democracy (funded by the State Department) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) ] – their lackeys, the anti-democratic forces, especially Duvalierist and their NGOs in opposition to the duly elected government supported through so-called “democracy enhancement” projects and humanitarian aid. It is well documented, that the Western policymakers abhor when the people of Haiti rule themselves and planned the ouster of Haiti’s chosen popular leader (The Ottawa Initiative; Richard Morse said “It was a coup, I participated! I went to meetings in Washington” -; UN/MINUSTAH replaced the bloody Haitian army , says Richard Morse of the Oloffson Hotel, Haiti ; Matters for an International Tribunal to Investigate...; See also sidebar links and Notes 1-8, below.)

Recall, that on December 31, 2003, this author was there, in Haiti for the bicentennial in 2004, having a late meeting with Jafrikayiti who had Kevin Pina with him, when in the lobby of the Montana Hotel, Luigi Einaudi, the then Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States said to us that, “the problem with Haiti is that the international community is so screwed up, they are letting Haitians run Haiti.” Then came the February 29, 2004 ouster of President Aristide by the US, France, Canada with the complicity of the OAS, UN and the Catholic Church. Today, Haiti is run by the US with the UN as military proxy fulfilling the old job of the Haitian army and is running Haiti, after the summary disenfranchisement of 10-million Haitians, the slaughter of Haiti’s sovereignty, fledging democracy and tens of thousands of Haitian dissenters who, from 2004 to 2006 where all conveniently lumped together as “gangsters” in need of being eradicated by the UN/MINUSTAH “peacemakers.” (It’s Neither Hope nor Progress when the International Community is Running Haiti.

Recall the Ottawa Initiative, the 2003 foreign gathering where foreign ministers of the Western powers met in Canada and indicated they saw Haiti as a “threat” to North American countries because Haiti might have, by some estimates, a population of 20 million by 2019.

Recall that Canadian foreign Minister, Dennis Paradis is reported to have said at this white gathering that the prospect of 20 million Haitians by 2019, is a “time bomb, which must be defused immediately. (For more “recall” items, see Note 6 below.)

The US not only helped fund, train and give logistic support to armed thugs, thieves, drug-dealers and convicted Haiti criminals in the Dominican Republic (giving them training within the Dominican Republic army itself in 2004) but denied Haiti humanitarian aid, loans and credit and on February 29, 2004, after US Special Forces had kidnapped Haiti’s duly elected president deporting him to Africa, the US then brought in the UN/MINUSTAH mission as its proxy to “restore order.”  (See, Eyewitness account of the abduction of President and First Lady Aristide of Haiti by the United States Special Forces .)

After the January 12, 2010 earthquake especially, the command of the Brazilians of MINUSTAH was pushed aside, and the US government used former president Bill Clinton to further US strategic and commercial interests in Haiti through the murderous and depraved $860million UN/MINUSTAH mission and the mask of humanitarian aid. The former president not only is the UN Special Envoy to Haiti, the co-chair of the IHRC but also directs the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Giustra Sustainable Growth Initiative.

It is not clear, and one does not know when former president Bill Clinton asks for donation dollars for Haiti earthquake relief and reconstruction whether he’s raising monies for the UN country-donor fund as the UN Special Envoy to Haiti and for the IHRC or, for the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, or for the Clinton Foundation or the Clinton Guistra Sustainable Growth Initiative, to name a few blatant conflicts. What is clear is that the UN has added to Haiti’s suffering immeasurably since the earthquake with a cholera epidemic that has killed over 6,435 Haitians and infected nearly 500,000 while simultaneously poisoning Haiti’s waterways with no mitigation of its damages to date whatsoever. What is clear is that Bill Clinton, Warren Buffett and his partners brought the same Katrina failure to Haiti with formaldehyde-laced housing.

What is clear is that most of private charity and donor country monies collected in the name of Haiti earthquake victims has not reach Haiti, much less the neediest earthquake victims in Haiti but stayed in the coffers or been used to support the lives of the “humanitarians of Haiti.”

What is clear is that Haiti’s people don’t even have clean drinking water, most of the earthquake rubble has yet to be removed and over half-a-million Haitians are still homeless over 1-1/2year after the apocalyptic earthquake. What is clear is that the Haitian people want the UN occupation to be over, therefore the people can’t ask the United Nations to leave without also requesting Bill Clinton, the UN Special Envoy and his UN Deputy Envoy (Paul ‘the god' Farmer) to also get out of Haiti, take their NGO/UN tutelage, sham elections and their World Bank/IMF death plans with them. People made homeless by the catastrophic January 2010 earthquake is now 595,811. “The Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC) has approved $254.5 million worth of housing repair and reconstruction projects that will reportedly fix, upgrade or build about 41,759 housing units…Bill Clinton leads the IHRC. At least 5,400 of the planned new or repaired units are actually slated for Haiti’s North Department – far from the earthquake epicenter and its victims, but right next to the where foreign companies are planning a new industrial park with low-wage assembly factories.”

The Clintons, UN and “international community” promoting HOPE Act assembly-line factories as  “development” for Haiti know it didn’t work thirty years ago and with the current economic crisis these sweatshops as “development and aid” for Haiti are even more of a hoax. But, this lie helps the foreign elites mask the colonization of Haiti for the wealthy, mask Haiti’s endless containment-in-poverty, forced assimilation, ethnic cleansing and the real Western corporate goal of turning Haiti into a brothel, plantation and tourist haven for rich Northern US/Euros still hankering for “old Dixie” complete with African servants and syncophants.

The world’s oligarchy intent on destroying what’s left of Haiti’s agriculture, through promoting urban sweatshops, preventing Haiti from investing in its domestic agriculture, culture/education, health care, infrastructure is also steadily gobbling up Haitian lands in the name of NGO aid and investing in Haiti. That’s why homeless quake victims get evicted in the hurricane season while the Bush-Clinton fund builds a new $29 million tourist hotel for Westerners with donation dollars intended to help quake victims.

The US cost Haiti approximately 850,000 agricultural jobs with Clinton/Bush “free trade” policy and promises of hundreds of thousands of assembly plant jobs that never came to past, but pushed Haiti farmers off their rural lands. Yet, both Mrs. Clinton and USAID believe there‘s been progress: “One industrial park has been created to create 20,000 jobs.” US False Benevolence in Haiti. Not only is Bill Clinton’s apology for bringing famine to Haiti with his former Administration’s free trade deals that subsidized rich Arkansa farmers at the expense Haiti food sovereignty as meaningless as his apology for his administration’s failures during the Rwanda genocide but the hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton’s State Department continuing the same policies Bill Clinton apologized for is dishonorable to criminal. Especially when it’s also Hillary Clinton’s USAID that brought Monsanto hybrid seed to Haiti as earthquake relief! And, just when you think the Clintons couldn’t get any more grotesque in Haiti, the Clinton Global Initiatives announces a Haiti insurance scheme preying on imported fear and insecurity.

Instead of the Clinton Foundation making in investment in clean portable water and sanitation plants, it invest but cholera insurance to sell to Haiti’s oppressed women. A cholera that the UN imported into Haiti. A UN that Bill Clinton and Paul Farmer market and brand to the world as “giving Haiti security, human rights and good governance.” But just as Farmer knows HIV was imported and helped make him the “god doctor” whose credentials are used to bring more suffering to Haiti for the rich vampires to feed on. So does he, the UN, the World Bank, NGOs and Bill and Hillary Clinton know and use the cholera epidemic as a business opportunity. This time to increase US/Euro and the world oligarchy’s insurance market share in Haiti. Our death means dollars to the fake humanitarians living like mini monarchs on Haiti’s endless oppression, exploitation and containment-in-poverty. Haiti suffering is a business opportunity for those renting homes from the Haiti Oligarchy that’s moved to Florida, Montreal and Paris while collecting high rents from the NGOs who fundraised on our people’s death and misery. The UN claims clean water and sanitation is a human right. But the UN destroyed Haiti’s water systems with cholera. The world’s wealthiest  – Bill Clinton/Warren Buffet, Swiss Re, et al… – expect impoverished Haitians to pay for cholera insurance, while promoting themselves as humanitarians. The US-supported Duvalier dictatorships, father and son (1957 to 1986), are credited with having slaughtered over 50,000 Haitians over a 29year period. The Bush Administration, father and son, supported two coup d’etats (1991/2004) against the people of Haiti.  In 2004, under George W. Bush, the UN was commandeered to do US biddings in Haiti and after the Marines left, it would be the UN soldiers who would give firepower cover to the slaughter of nearly 20,000 Haitians from 2004 to 2006 in the populous areas of Site Soley, Bel Air, Solino, Martissant, et al…

The genocide, cannibalism and holocaust Christopher Columbus and the white setters started in Haiti (Ayiti) continues today.

In the sixteenth century, Christopher Columbus’ sailors brought syphilis to Haiti, made it a common practice in the Americas to give smallpox blankets to decimate the Amerindian population. But the Europeans insisted it was the Tainos of Ayiti who gave the Europeans syphilis and were diseased just as they accused Haitians with having started HIV/AID and just as structural racism allows cholera to decimate Haitians today.

The latest under-reported atrocity of the ‘discoverers” is that the UN, the US brought to Haiti to deflect charges of racism and imperialism, brought with them the cholera virus that has killed 6,435 and made nearly 500,000 Ayisyen-Africans ill in one year.  This, nightmare doesn’t even begin to list the international crime scene that’s Haiti, such as the systemic and incessant rape, abuse, trafficking and impregnation by UN soldiers and NGO charity workers, for over a seven year period, of Haitian women and girls since Haiti became directly foreign-led, the Haiti government officials made mere puppets.

But you won’t read these facts in proper context, if at all,  in the discoverers‘ media outlets. The holocaust in Ayiti continues. The insane imperial narrative and custom of honoring rapists, murderers, torturers, degenerate pedophile maniacs, pillagers, plunderers, enslavers and poverty pimps, starting with Christopher Columbus, who set forth the most prolonged genocides and horrific terrors in recorded human history, continues today.  Officialdom honors the UN and UN envoys to Haiti as “humanitarians” or “God” bringing security, stability, peace, law, Christian ethos and “Western civilization.”  Too many have jobs, egos, power and prestige invested in the profit-over-people system to see that the current saviors of Haiti extend mostly the same narcissistic, cultural blindness and denials as the initial “missionaries/humanitarians” brought to Haiti in 1492.

In Haiti 0.5 % – Haiti’s billionaire plunderers – own 98% of Haiti’s wealth through monopolies orchestrated and supported by Western policymakers and corporations. Maybe they are now ready to see no difference in either the Mangoose nor the Malfini. Maybe they’ll see the Haiti masses who have fought so hard, so courageously, so relentlessly and for so many centuries since October 17, 1806 against the world’s most powerful tyrants and their lackeys.

Regardless, this is our legacy to reach. We are the Haitians, the first to put liberty into application in the Western Hemisphere. We agitate from one generation to the next until Bourgeoisie Freedom is gone and there’s equitable distribution of Haiti’s wealth for Desalin’s descendants. Thing is, if the elite’s rabid rage and evil power can be beaten by Haiti poorest, then so shall it be possible worldwide.

That is why the Euro/US superpowers  whose very existence – history, social-economic and cultural systems – are founded on lies, genocide and the denigration of Ayisyen-African truths cannot tell the truth and stop vesting their culture in lies. The Westerners cannot bring themselves to remember and lift up that it’s the Island of Ayiti not Hispaniola – “little Spain.”  Cannot celebrate the life and indigenous Ayisyen-African culture there, but must obsessively lift up the forced assimilation and genocide there (rape, torture, thieving, pillage, plunder, ‘ol Dixie, biological poisoning, apartheid) which continues today (with the UN as proxy for the US-led “discoverers”) against the descendants of the African-Ayisyen who avenged the genocide the European tribes had committed against the Taino-Ayisyen and the African holocaust (Maafa) their tribes begun, there in Haiti in 1503. Until the lies that bolsters the current US takeover of Haiti is as recognized as Columbus himself ought to be recognize as a cannibal, terrorist and barbarian, Haiti will continue to be an evidence that must be annihilated. For a decade now Ezili’s HLLN has been pointing out that if Haiti’s informal economy and land owned by the 70% of Haiti who are farmers, most living in their family’s rural Lakou – communal properties/ownerships – were counted in calculating Haiti’s GDP, Haiti would AUTOMATICALLY become one of the richest countries in the Caribbean with their asset valued as a business credit and collateral for their own development.
