Miami and now serving long prison sentences."
Saul Landau in the second half.
And; Victoria Street Newz publisher and CFUV radio broadcaster, Janine
Bandcroft will join us at the bottom of the hour to bring us up to speed
with some of the things going on within the city's streets and beyond.
But first, Kathleen Cooper and a scoping review of our collective
exposure to hazardous chemicals and pollution, and their associations in
chronic disease.
We are, in Canada and throughout the world, being poisoned. From womb to
tomb, humans, and all animals, terrestrial, aquatic, and avian, exist
in an increasingly toxic environment.
The effects of our collective
exposure are rarely discussed in a context that clearly identifies
causal factors, or the people controlling the source spigots; but for
now, it is all dedicated scientists can do to document what chemicals
and pollution are going into the biosphere, and warn us of the
impending, trans-generational dangers they pose.

And; in 2001, as American intelligence agencies busily ignored the
warnings of a major attack in what has since become the "Homeland," five
Cuban nationals were risking their lives infiltrating US-based
terrorist networks mounting operations against Cuba.
 In Miami, Cuban
exiles, who boasted of attacks targeting civilians in hotels, airliners,
and merchant shipping, planned and executed plots against their former
homeland with impunity. When the details of these plots was revealed to
the Federal Bureau of Investigation by the Cuban government, American
law enforcement responding by arresting not the suspected terrorists,
but the agents watching them!
