Israeli Bulldozers Raze Palestinian Land in Salfit
by WAFA
SALFIT, September 26, 2011 (WAFA) - Israeli bulldozers Monday razed large areas of land in the village of Burqin, in the northern West bank city of Salfit, under the pretext of erecting electricity polls for the benefit of settlements, according to Burqin Mayor I'krimah Samara.

He said that Israeli bulldozers, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, razed large areas of land in various locations and uprooted olive trees in order to build a road that connects those areas to each other.

He pointed out that  Burqin land  is targeted for the benefit of settlement expansion, while the occupation authorities prevent the village from expanding its built up area as well as prevent Palestinians from building on their land.
