Last month, British Columbia's long-suffering electorate capped a nearly two year effort to turf out the B.C. Liberal's hated HST, or Harmonized Sales Tax with a decisive referendum vote. The momentu  m for this has built over the last few years, as Palestine racked up support from nations around the world, but always lacking was the support of defenders of democracy everywhere, the United States of America and her retinue of cowed culture warriors. Chief among America's coalition willing to kill Palestine's ambitions for normalcy is Stephen Harper has already said "Canada" will vote against recognition.
