The
Cohen Commission is expecting a bloodbath at the salmon inquiry as
public interest and a media feeding frenzy is in danger of exceeding the
130 seats in the courtroom. Meanwhile, the public should get there early for the 10am start. Rumours are that the salmon farming industry is laying on busses from Campbell River to pack the room.
In the Chamber of Secrets called the Cohen Commission, lawyers must have screamed out "We're going to need a bigger courtroom" when they caught sight of the Jaws-sized monster called salmon farming lurking in the murky waters.
Huge interest in the Cohen Commission's discussion on 'Diseases' starting on Monday (August 22) - ending on Wednesday (August 24) with Dr. Kristi "Muzzled" Miller - has sparked panic at the Cohen Commission.
On Monday (August 22), the release of ten years of disease records for 120 salmon farms (delivered to the Cohen Commission in January) is expected to spell the end of the line for salmon farming in British Columbia.
Following the 'Diseases' evidentiary hearings, the issue of 'Aquaculture' will finally rear its ugly head (starting on Thursday August 26 until September 8).

Why spend your summer vacation on the beach when you can be crammed inside a courtroom like farmed salmon in a disease-ridden feedlot?
