To Gaza and Back: Freedom Flotillatista Kevin Neish Speaks
written by Press Release

Freedom Flotilla II to Gaza
by Victoria Free Gaza Coalition
Kevin Neish on the 2nd Freedom Flotilla to Gaza.

The 2nd Freedom Flotilla to Gaza was made up of a dozen ships with hundreds of activists on board from more than 50 countries. They were aiming to deliver tonnes of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza besieged by Israel. The flotilla was to set sail at the end of June.

The Greek government, with pressure no doubt coming from Israel, the U.S. and Canada, used the unprecedented tactic of blocking the boats from leaving Greece ports. The only boat that was able to make it out of Greece was the French boat which was later illegally seized by Israel before it  reached Gaza.

Kevin Neish, who was on the Canadian flotilla boat, The Tahrir, will give a full report about what happened.
