They're back. Following five month of waiting for the fruits of the Arab Spring, demonstrators have returned in their thousands to remind the military rulers of Egypt their revolution will not be countered.
Sharif Abdul Kaddous, reporting from Cairo, says hundreds of thousands have come out into the streets. Police and security forces have attacked protesters, though, according to his best information, no live fire has been used against the protest.
Spontaneous manifestations beginning on January 25th transformed into an eighteen occupation of the square that saw running battles in the streets, culminating in the ouster of president Hosni Mubarak and the end of his thirty year rule.
