Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba! Sat. June 25th & Sun. July 3rd
written by Press Release

Two upcoming events for the Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba! Sat. June 25th & Sun. July 3rd
by BC Aid Network for Cuba (BCANC)
For over 50 years, since 1959, the government of the US has used the blockade of Cuba as a political weapon against the people of Cuba. They hoped this criminal policy will eventually bring down the Cuban government. However, the resistance and heroic defiance of the Cuban people has made these attempts a failure story.

This summer, for the 22nd time, the Pastors for Peace Friendshipment Caravan to Cuba will challenge the US government’s economic and travel blockade on Cuba. The Caravan will travel through up to 140 cities in the US and Canada, raising awareness about the US blockade and gathering humanitarian aid to take to Cuba. Participants will then spend nine days in Cuba, participating in a variety of
educational and cultural events. This year the caravan will also be lifting up the life’s work of Rev. Lucius Walker, Jr., the founding director of IFCO/Pastors for Peace, who passed away last year.

Join us in sending off the 2011 Pastors for Peace Caravan to Cuba, as it makes it’s way from Vancouver Island, across the border and down the West Coast of the US on it’s way to Cuba.

>>> ¡CUBA SI! ¡BLOQUEO NO! <<<
