Esmeralda torture ship not welcomed in Canada
Just like in 2009, the torture-ship La Esmeralda is about to dock in our BC ports. From August 1-5, 2011 the ship will be in the Victoria Inner Harbour and from August 6-10 it will be in the Port of Vancouver.
We
are asking the Canadian Navy and the Victoria Harbour Authority to
rescind this visit, which is an insult to Canada's reputation and to the
memory of those who were tortured, humiliated, raped and killed aboard
La Esmeralda.
Please write to the Visit's organizers demanding withdrawing the invitation to the torture ship La Esmeralda
