This
article is an informative summary of the political situation into which
Jean Bertrand Aristide has returned to Haiti. Aristide, his supporters
and the South African government rebuffed pressures from the United
States, Canada and the UN Security Council to delay the return until the
completion of the fraudulent, second-round presidential
selection-election in Haiti on March 20. Aristide's return will take the
shine off of the sham election process, which is exactly why the big
powers wanted to prolong his forced exile.
