Celebrate Jean Beliveau's return to Canada, as he is nearing the end of his eleven-year walk around the world in support of the United Nations proclamation: 2001-2010 -- International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World.

 

Victorian peace activists are invited to bring banners, placards, streamers, noise makers on Sunday, February 20, as he will be departing from the Legislature at 10:00 am and walking several km with Victorians before taking the bus and ferry to Vancouver in preparation for the launch from Vancouver City Hall on February 21.
