Vancouver on the Nile: Egyptian Solidarity Rally Saturday
written by Press Release
Solidarity Rally for Egypt: Mubarak Must Go!
The whole world is watching Egypt. And the whole world is inspired by the people's determined and courageous struggle to end a decades-old dictatorship.

Let's show that the people of Vancouver support this movement in Egypt and the wider region, and that we support human rights, democracy, freedom and equality. This will be Vancouver's fourth straight Saturday rally in solidarity with the movements in Tunisia and Egypt, and we need this one to be the biggest.

Sat, Feb. 12, 1:30pm,
Vancouver Public Library
(Robson St & Homer)

New generations are waking up to the realization of their people power, the only power that can make real change for the better. This is a pivotal moment in Egypt and in the world - let's not miss it!

Spread the word, and be there Saturday, 1:30pm to 3:00pm outside the Vancouver Public Library downtown, at Robson Street and Homer. Let's see how big of a crowd we can get on barely 48 hours notice.
