written by Press Release
Second Open House for Queenswood Rezoning
by UVic
The University of Victoria is scheduled to apply to the District of Saanich for a rezoning designation for the Queenswood property purchased from the Sisters of St. Ann last year. UVic needs to seek a change to the current designation to meet the university’s needs for the property into the future. The intended use of the property will meet UVic's main missions for teaching, research and community engagement.

UVic is seeking public input prior to submitting the rezoning application, having held the first open house information session in November 2010.

Information about the consultation and rezoning process is provided on a dedicated website available from www.uvic.ca/queenswood.
