Hockey Fans For Peace rally - Sat., Jan. 8, outside the Hockey Night In Canada broadcast of the Canucks/Red Wings game at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Join us to send a message that hockey fans have the democratic right to oppose the war in Afghanistan, and to urge the CBC to stop using sporting events to promote the Harper government's militarist policies.

 

Let us debate these issues with Don Cherry during Coach's Corner! Gather 6 pm outside the Starbucks at Tinseltown (Abbott & Keefer), at 6:15 walk over to the Arena with our banner to hand out some leaflets and talk to other fans!
