Our Flotilla on Sunday, October 17, 2010

Please join the celebration of our coast! We are sending a clear message to the government that we don’t want crude oil tankers in
our waters!
The MORE people in boats and on the beach, the LOUDER the message!
If you would like to be in a boat, you can:
Join the No Tanks! Flotilla aboard the Royal Vancouver. Boat will load at Granville Island between 11:30-12:30. Tickets are available at http://notankscruise.eventbrite.com/ (Adults $40, Students $25, Children under 12 Free.)
Otherwise:
Attend the FREE concert at Second Beach, overlooking English Bay, which will be broadcast on FM radio, from Noon to 3 p.m.
Schedule:
10:00 AM: The No Tanks V.I.P. - Media boat underway from Coal
Harbour, through Second Narrows to Westridge Terminal. Media welcome
(contact Rex Weyler, 778-868-9670, weyler@telus.net). Boaters welcome
to follow. We’ll come back through the Harbour and around Stanley
Park to English Bay.
Noon to 3:00 PM: Music, boats, and celebration: Second Beach, English
Bay, Vancouver
3:00 Flotilla send-off
3:45 Boats arrive at Lions Gate
