The CRD parks committee has just stated its intention to buy as much of this area as they can afford, and the University of British Columbia wants to buy all the remaining land for research and teaching purposes, but Ida Chong and the rest of the Liberals are refusing to help.

On Tuesday March 23 we will be rallying at the Oak Bay Municipal hall to say thank you to Mayor Chris Causton (chair of the CRD parks committee) for their historic purchase.  Then we'll move across the street to thank Ida Chong for doing absolutely nothing to help our community solve this problem.
