Reviewing 'From New Age to New Edge'

Yes, now I remember seeing it online.
It was a disgusting mash-up of hindutva authoritarianism desperately cloaked in culty new age window dressing just deep enough to frame a self centred clique of enviro-posers for scripted management from a media savvy PR agency intent on reconstructing a brutally globalized corporate world view but imbued and disguised with a cargo culture of spiritual trappings and presented with millenialist angst shadowing the new gaian faces of these trojan women.
It [may] have been paid for by Joel Solomon. The film reflects the hindutva labelled eco yuppie fascism being pimped by Esalen's so-called integral economists, integral ecologists and integralist ideologues which loopy adherents such as integral idiot Darcy Riddell identify as the integralist transformational GBR [Great Bear Rainforest] RSP strategy with which they dedicated 70% of the GBR including the alluvial engines of resilience and biodiversity to liquidation through logging, roading, fish farms and IPP developments while sanctimoniously celebrating the corporate charity allowing the conservation capture of the remaining mediocrity for wing-nut integralist posterity as monumental evidence of the miraculous power of this insane corporate worshiping integralist religion.

Abstract: This case study applies Integral Ecology to analyze the broad range of strategies environmentalists have undertaken to create protected areas and change forest practices in the Great Bear Rainforest, British Columbia, Canada. Rainforest conservation efforts in the region promoted holistic, trans-disciplinary solutions and fostered agreement among diverse stakeholders, modeling an Integral Ecology approach. Environmentalists worked locally and globally, engaging with economic, cultural, political, and scientific systems to create change. The campaign involved transformations at personal and cultural levels that have enabled negotiated solutions involving over twenty million acres of rainforest on British Columbia's coast.
Integral Ecology is EBM [Eco-based Forest Management] is whatever hyped transformational fake environmental change you or your corporate clients want it to be. Michael\\

From New Age to New Edge Can we really change the world without changing ourselves? From New Age to New Edge explores this question, as it travels to the remote rainforests of western Canada, where a revolution is in the making. Here, the face of environmental activism is going through radical changes, as it dovetails with the personal growth movement. So far, it's been a winning combination: it has kept chainsaws away from one of the largest remaining stands of old-growth forest on the planet.
