Interviewing Abdu Mihirig

Voice of Palestine, Canada will be interviewing Abdu Mihirig this Tuesday evening Jan. 12, 2010 between 8:00-9:00pm (PST). Abdu is a student at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver and a member of the Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights-UBC. He, along with two other SPHR members, participated in efforts to enter the besieged Gaza Strip only to be suppressed by the Egyptian government and barred from entering.
He will talk about his experiences in Egypt and his encounters with the Egyptian police.
