Dear friends and co fighters in the struggle for peace and justice,
September 12th 2009 will mark the 11th anniversary of the unjust imprisonment of Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Rene Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez, know internationally as the Cuban 5 heroes. Their so-called crime is simply investigating US-sponsored anti-Cuban terrorist organizations in Miami that have been responsible for the deaths of over 3,400 innocent Cubans since the 1959 Cuban revolution.
On June 15th 2009, the Supreme Court of the Unites States announced its decision not to review the case of these 5 Cuban heroes. Today, it is more clear than ever that justice for the Cuban 5 will not come from the court rooms of the United States. On October 13th 2009, Ramon, Fernando, and Antonio will be re-sentenced. However, they will be re-sentenced in Miami, the centre of anti-Cuban terrorism, by the same judge who originally convicted and sentenced these innocent anti-terrorist fighters.

Now is a more important time than ever to build a campaign for the
freedom of the Cuban 5. Gerardo Hernandez once said that as long as one
person remains struggling on the outside, we will continue resisting
until there is justice. We must continue to organize and come to the
streets to protest these 11 years of injustice and demand freedom for
these five heroes of humanity. The Free the Cuban 5 Committee-Vancouver
is calling on all human loving people to join us, along with the
international community, in protesting the injustice against our five
brothers. Please join us in front of the Art Gallery in Downtown

amigos y luchadores por la paz y la justicia,

12 del 2009 marcará 11 años del injusto encarcelamientos de Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, René González, y Fernando González conocidos internacionalmente como los 5 heroes cubanos. Ellos simplemente investigaban los crimenes amparados por la organización terrorista anit cubana de Miami EE.UU, quienes eran responsables por la muerte de mas de 3,400 cubanos inocentes, desde la revolución 1959.
En junio 15 del 2009, la corte suprema EE.UU anuncia la decisión de no revisar el caso de los 5 heroes cubanos. Hoy es mas claro que nunca que la justicia para los 5 no vendra do los cuartos de la corte EE.UU. Porque el 13 de octubre de este ano, Ramón, Fernando y Antonio seran resentenciados en Miami en el centro de terroristas anti cubanos por el mismo juez que originalmente condenó a los 5 inocentes luchadores anti terroristas.
Ahora es mas importante que nunca hacer una fuerte campaña para libertad de los 5 heroes. Gerardo Hernández dijo una vez que “mientras mas se lucha desde a fuera, nosotros continuaremos resistiendo hasta que haya justicia. Nosotros
debemos continuar orginizados y salir a las calles a protestar por estos 11 anos de injusticia y demander la liberad para estos 5 heroes.
El comite por la libertad de los 5 Heroes en Vancouver, esta llamando a toda la gente que ama la libertad y le justicia a unirse con nosotros y toda la comunidad internacional para protestar por estos 5 hermanos encarcelados injustamnete.
