Malalai Joya's Big Lie Afghanistan

A few couple years back, Malalai Joya visited Victoria, and provided me the opportunity to speak with her as she prepared to address a crowd of supporters and well-wishers.

 

I asked her about one of the central tenets of the political and military intervention, by primarily western NATO powers, spearheaded by the US: The notion of humanitarian intervention in the name of 'protecting the rights of women in Afghanistan.'
