2. Occupy the Ports! Actions in Delta & Vancouver

SHUT DOWN THE PORTS!
Coordinated West Coast Action on Monday December 12

On Monday December 12 we're asking community organizations, rank-and-file union members, residents and journalists to join the call from Occupiers along the west coast to stand in solidarity with the West Coast Port Shutdown:

Delta - Meet at the Ladner Exchange bus loop @ 9 am for a non-disruptive banner action. We will stand in solidarity with the West Coast Coordinated Port Shutdown as well as call attention to issues looming at Deltaport such as the proposed Foreign Trade Zone and Terminal 2 expansion. After this action we will take transit to join the Vancouver action.

Vancouver - Meet at Callister Park (Renfrew & Cambridge) @ 12 noon to join Occupy Vancouver for an action in support of the West Coast Coordinated Port Shutdown. Occupiers in San Diego, Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Tacoma, and Seattle have asked us to stand in solidarity with them. We hope that you will join us in this action and invite your sisters, brothers, neighbours and co-workers to block the New Brighton Port entrance.

3. Occupy Vancouver: Special Assembly

The encampment at the Vancouver Art Gallery (VAG) is in legal limbo, but Occupy Vancouver hasn't gone anywhere. Globally the Occupy Movement is only growing. Now is the time to stand together, encourage new participants, and talk collectively about Occupy Vancouver's future. Meet @ 1pm, Saturday December 10 at the Woodwards atrium, 149 West Hastings Street, to Re-group, Re-connect, and Re-engage!
